• Bill Simpson, founder and MD, has been on the council of the International Congress of Glass, European Society of Glass Technology and until recently was the Honorary Secretary of the Society of Glass Technology based in Sheffield. He is also acknowledged as one of the worlds leading exponents on the REDOX theories of glass refining, colours, and batch colour changes.

Hot Glass Handling

• GSL is proud to be a major stockist and distributor of the Poco Graphite range of Glassmate products.
• The Glassmate range of isotropic polycrystalline graphite materials are engineered for the glass industry.
• It is the major product used in the container glass industry to enable closed mould pick-up resulting in
  higher machine speeds, extended mould time and lighter weight containers.

HANDMADE GLASS - KUGLER COLORS

• GSL is the official distributor for UK & Ireland for Friedrich Farbglashutte. Their Kugler Colors range of over
  160 overlay colours in concentrated Rod, Powder, Grit and special sizes are famous throughout the world.
  
• Most of our customers are lead crystal glass and non-lead crystal glass studios, artists and teaching colleges.
• Handblowers overlay the colours on to high quality glass to create whatever their imagination and skill can achieve.

HANDMADE GLASS – PHILIPS PELLETS

• GSL is the official UK & Ireland distributor stocking their world renowned premixed batch pellets.
• Free flowing, homogeneous, easy to handle, dust free batch pellets.
• Available in a non-lead / non-barium recipe or in a variety of lead grades - 8% lead, 24% lead and 30% lead.
